Video Of OGR Forum Meeting In York
O Gauge Railroading magazine holds an OGR forum meeting in the grandstands at every TCA York train meet. The meeting consists of a number of presenters from the O Gauge manufacturing world discussing their new products. This time around a forum member made a video of the meeting and OGR posted it on their website. Check out the video here.
OGR Magazine Names New Editor
O Gauge Railroading magazine has a new editor, Allan Miller, who replaces the current editor, George Brown. The announcement was made in the current issue of OGR magazine, but no official announcement was made on-line. An OGR forum participant broke the news on the OGR forum after he noticed the announcement in the magazine. A long time model railroad buff and prolific OGR forum participant with over 16,000 posts to his credit, Mr. Miller’s profile from the OGR forum indicates that he was Senior Editor/News and Information for Virginia Tech. New Issues of O Gauge Mags Hitting Newsstands

OGR Tour Of Weaver Models Scheduled for Fall TCA York Meet
OGR and Weaver Models are teaming up for a factory tour of the Weaver Factory on Wednesday, October 18th, the day before the start of the TCA Eastern Division meet in York, PA. Participants on the tour will have the chance to purchase a PS1 Weaver Boxcar commemorating the tour for $35.00. Roundtrip transportation from the York fairgrounds by luxury motor coach will be provided. The OGR sponsored tour of the MTH factory and Tony Lash’s layout for the Spring TCA meet in York filled up fast so sign up early. New Editor Of OGR Magazine to Participate On Panel Discussion In Austin, TX
On Tuesday, 4/25/06 George Brown, the new Editor of O Gauge Railroading magazine, will be participating in a panel discussion in Austin, TX at the Society for Technical Communication. The subject of the panel will be "How to get started, types of articles to write, pay ranges, presenter’s
stories, etc. - all related to what it is like to write for magazines
