What a great article. I had no idea Mike and Neil knew each other. I bought many thousands of dollars of trains from 1996 to 2000 and when this lawsuit showed its ugly face, I became soured on the whole deal, and boycotted MTH from my collection. It is so refreshing to see the hatchet buried and get this behind us for the good of the hobby. I am in business too, and can see why Mike did what he did, but I am not sure his sales decline was from the lawsuit- I feel it was more from the literal flood of product on the market that took a nice collectible and turned it into a commodity. I am sitting on my collection watching the value go down daily. But I still enjoy looking at those beautiful models! (no sealed boxes, thank you)
