Atlas O July ‘07 Announcments
For July, Atlas O has announced new road numbers and paint schemes for the Atlas O GP35 locomotive, new road numbers and paint schemes for the Atlas O Standard Cupola Caboose, a special anniversary 4-pack of Atlas O 36′ wood reefers, new paint schemes for the Atlas O 40′ Steel Reefer, a new 50′ 6" boxcar added to the Atlas O Trainman product line and new Atlas O Trainman sets. I love the D&H RS-3 set. Deadline for ordering these new products is August 15, 2007. See the Atlas O website for more details.
Take A Virtual Tour Of An Amtrak Sleeper Car
I’m sure most O Gauge fans who haven’t traveled by rail in a sleeping car (like me) are curious to find out what the rooms are all about. Amtrak has a virtual tour of a Superliner Sleeping Car on their website that gives you a 3D look at the bedrooms available in the car. Check out the tour here.

Bankruptcy Court Judge Begins Hearing Motions on Future Trial Venue by Erol Gurcan
Lionel and MTH’s attorneys were back in a New York bankruptcy court on June 27th before Judge Burton Lifland. Interestingly, the courtroom was crowded since a lot was potentially riding on the hearing. Lionel’s CEO and President Jerry Calabrese, and Chief Financial Officer Scott Turkington were present in court. They were scheduled to testify and later did. More about that later. Mrs. Martin Davis was present as well. MTH’s Mike Wolf was not.
