The NY CENTRAL COAL HOPPER set is a recreation of the original
authentic NYC paint scheme used by Kusan (the original company that
made these freight cars) in the 1950’s with matching brown paint, NYC
oval logo, NYC lettering style and continuation of the original Kusan
numbering series.

The B&O set references the B&O coal trains that operated
over the Reading and Jersey Central railroads in the 1960’s to serve
the coal-fired power plant on Staten Island, NJ with special lettering
and prototype information on each car.

The READING set features the famous Reading Anthracite Coal Carrier
logo in red/white with historical markings and prototypical railroad
info.

On the US MARINES set, each car is sub lettered for a WWII USMC
installation…Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and the other for Camp
Pendleton, California. The car’s reporting mark number reflects the
date each base became an active military installation.

The MORRISTOWN & ERIE currently owns 2 former Erie-Lackawanna
hopper cars that are used on-line for track maintenance. The RMT cars
are prototypical…colorfully painted with the M&E’s distinctive
diamond logo and large ‘billboard’ lettering and are numbered fort the
actual prototype M&E coal hoppers.

Scheduled for delivery in late Summer 2007.
