I’m not sure when this happened but Lionel launched a new website dedicated to their K-Line by Lionel product line. The site probably launched in conjunction with the inaugural K-Line by Lionel 2007 Volume 1 catalog but I missed it. Check out the site here. Hey Lionel, you may want to redirect traffic heading for www.k-linetrains.com to the new site.

When Lionel first announced that it purchased K-Line last year, I sent them an email suggesting that they also purchase the “K-linetrains.com” internet domain and have it re-directed to a Lionel.com page with current information about K-line. Here is a copy of the email response

Question:
From all indications from the Lionel Web site, Lionel has purchased the
rights to the K-Line name. Why doesn’t Lionel purchase the former
domain name from the K-line Web site (www.k-linetrains.com) from Network
Solutions and re-direct it to an informatin page on the Lionel Web site
? This would keep former K-Line customers informed of the status of the
K-Line brand which will from all indications be part of Lionel.
Just a suggestion

One thing that I forgot to mention, “k-linetrans.com” was apparently purchased by sombody else and no longer says under construction when you browse to it.
