MTH Announcements
MTH announced they will be producing an uncataloged passenger car for Yuengling Brewery. The car is a continuation of a series of cars previously produced by K-Line. The Rugged Rails streamlined passenger car will carry the Yuengling Light Lager logo and will be the last in the series. You can purchase the car directly from Yuengling by visiting the Yuengling on-line store here. I visited the site and didn’t see the new car listed yet but I did notice some of the older cars are still available at a reduced price.
MTH also announced that some items in the 2007 Volume 1 catalog may not be produced if early order demand remains low. The models in question are in the Premier line and include:
Greenbrier 4-8-4 Steam Engine w/Proto-Sound 2.0 (Hi-Rail Wheels)
Class A 2-6-6-4 Steam Engine w/Proto-Sound 2.0 (Hi-Rail Wheels)
Canadian National 4-8-2 Steam Engine w/Proto-Sound 2.0 (Hi-Rail Wheels)
Z-6 Challenger 4-6-6-4 Steam Engine w/Proto-Sound 2.0
The build/no build decision for these locomotives will be made on 2/1/07 so get your orders in by 1/31/07.
