The Story Behind the “$50,000″ Bronze Prototype
I noticed in my site’s web stats that the eBay auction for the Lionel Bronze turbine prototype listed in my eBay links is quite popular. This engine has been listed several times and back in March of this year I contacted the seller to get the scoop on how he acquired it. In case you missed it, you can read his answer here.
PODCAST: MTH’s Coors Light Silver Bullet Train
Well, I’ve been throwing around the idea of putting together a podcast for some time now and finally got around to it. The topic for the first OGW podcast is MTH’s new Coors Light Silver Bullet train and features the comments of Mike Wolf, owner of MTH, made during his presentation at the TCA’s Fall 2006 Open House held at the TCA National Train Museum on October 18, 2006. Click the red circle on the Odeo media player to listen.
Enjoy.

Share Your O Gauge Photos!

O Gauge enthusiasts and beginners alike love to talk about and share
their experiences in the hobby. If you’re like me you have plenty of
photos of your layout , collection, and layouts you have visited at model train shows or clubs. And, like me, I’m sure you
can’t wait to show them off. Flickr is a great way to easily share all
your digital photos on the web. It’s easy to use and allows you to add
your photos to "groups" so you can share your photos with people of
similiar interests.
In the spirit of sharing, and showing off :), I set up the OGaugeWatch
Flickr group
so OGaugeWatch.com readers have a place to share their
O Gauge model railroad (or any other gauge) photos with others.
