DIY’s Workin’ On The Railroad - Season 2
Do It Yourself network’s model railroad show, Workin’ On The Railroad, will start it’s second season on July 4th beginning with a 5 part series on building a garden railroad. The show airs each week on Tuesday at 7:30 AM so set your VCR or TIVO.

Model Trains in New Superman Movie
While reading some of the reviews of the new Superman movie, I noticed that several mention a train layout belonging to Lex Luther. The layout is supposed to be a replica of Metropolis. You can check out a photo from the movie here and a production design sketch of the layout here.
MTH Product Cancellations Announced
Jim from Jim’s Train Shop provided a list of MTH product cancellations on the OGR forum. There are several NFL themed items on the list. You can view the entire list here. Apparently train manufacturers canceling products from their latest catalogs is a common practice when new items have low pre-order sales.
